B1 visa annotation question.

I was recently given a B1 visa with a single entry and an annotation stating that I am working for this company and will be attending a training at this particular state and intends to stay for 5 weeks. I have 2 questions:

1. The training will now be for 6 weeks, will it be ok for me to stay for 6 weeks even if the annotation states that it should only be for 5 weeks? My visa will expire 3 months from now.

2. Since in the annotation it states that the training will only be on this particular state and i have only a single entry visa. Will it be possible for me to visit other states for personal visit before i go back?

basically, your length of stay depends on what is stamped on your I94 at the port of entry, usually months, no matter the duration of your visa which really only determines the period during which you can enter the US and not the duration of stay. U also don't think you should have problems visiting other states at the conclusion of your business trip, it may beeasier on you though if you enter the US via the state annotated on your visa.
