B1 visa after expiry of H1B

I first came to US on H1b in Jan 2000. I applied my US Green card in May 2004 and my case has gone to backlog reduction center. It is still in labor stage. In the mean time I got my Canadian immigration and moved to Canada in Nov 2005. My 6 years expired in Jan 2006. Now my current employer want me to visit US for a week on B1 visa in October. My appointment at US consulate Toronto is scheduled in July 06. In DS-156 form there is a column for "Has somebody applied for your immigration visa", what do I've to write, YES or NO ?? If I write YES then will it have a negative impact in getting B1 visa ?

if your GC is still in labor stage then no immigrant visa has been applied for you. And if you left in Nov 2005 your reset clock starts then.
