We changed our status from B1/B2 to J1/J2 in the US, 1 year ago. We had declared our intent of doing a residency at the time of B stamping. Can anybody help-
1. Is it safe to travel to India to get our J visas stamped-is there increased change of rejection?
2. If we don't travel to India now but need to do so in the future, can we get J visas stamped in Mexico/Canada through a lawyer?
