B1 Extension

Hello All

I needed some advice regarding B1 visa Extensions, I plan to file for my mother's B1 extension which expires in Nov, but we are not sure if she can stay beyond Nov due to personal reasons. Could she land into problems if her extension is approved but she doesn't utilize it.

She could land into problems if her extension is denied and she stays past the expiration date on the I-94.

There would not be a problem if it is approved and she leaves before or during it though.
