How difficult will it be to obtain a tourist visa (B1/B2) after submitting a DS-260 for the DV 2024 lottery, considering my recent travel history with J1 visas?

Background details:

  1. Held a J1 visa in 2021 and returned home on time.
  2. Obtained another J1 visa in 2023.
  3. After receiving the J1 visa in 2023, I was selected for the DV lottery and submitted my DS-260.
  4. At the entry point in New York, I was taken to a waiting room but was not questioned, and after about five minutes, I was allowed entry.
  5. Returned home on time after my visit in 2023.
  6. My DV lottery case number is too high to secure an interview, but I still wish to visit the U.S. as a tourist.
What are the potential challenges or considerations in obtaining a tourist visa under these circumstances?

Update:

Here is my visa journey timeline:

07/01 - Submitted my DS-160.

07/02 - Paid $185 application fee and got my interview waiver letter through the portal.

07/03 - Dropped my new and old passports along with ONE photo and DS-160 confirmation page.

07/07 - CEAC status: “Application Received.”

07/11 - CEAC status: “Approved.”

07/15 - CEAC status: “Issued.”

So it seems that you can get a non-immigrant visa even if you applied for DS-260 in the past thank you all!❤️
