My fiancé is a legal permanent resident to US; he obtained his visa as result of a DV lottery. I have obtained a B1/2 visitor visa, on the basis of an invitation from him. We have decided not to get married within our native country in order for me not to violate the condition of obtained entry visa, and therefore become inadmissible on the territory for intended “adjustment of status in relation to a lawfully permanent resident”.
In the event we will get married within US, he being a legal permanent resident and green card holder, once married, what are, in your view, my chances of adjusting the status, obtaining permit for residence, travel, and work from USCIS/INS?
