B1/2 to F1, How is it possible ??

Hi,

I am on B1/B2 visa and i have applied for the extension. I want admission in HCC for further studies.

But the as per the HCC if i will apply for the F1 while my visa extension is pending, immigration may reject my visa extension and i will be out of status.and they will also reject my F1 application.

So their recommondation is apply for F1 after your visa extension get approved. But its more than 4 months i did not received my extension.

Is it possible to apply for F1 while my visa extension is pending ??
