Hi,

I am on my EAD and now working full time (My H1-B has been approved). I am inviting my mother-in -law over to USA for a visit. By the time she will travel I will be on my H1-b. I need to know:

Do I need to send the same documents now for her visa interview as someone on an H1-B or do I need to process some different paperwork from my original university as I am still on EAD right now.

Please let me know what all paperwork I need to get ready.

This is urgent as her interview date is in 2 weeks in India.
PLEASE HELP ASAP!

Thanks.

Please Help!!!

Hi,

I just graduated, am still on my EAD and I am currently working
full-time. My H1 has been approved and it will start on 10/01/2004. I
want to invite my in-laws from India. They plan to go for interview at
the US consulate in India in September this year (when I am still on my
EAD) and they plan to come here in October (when my H1-B starts). I plan
to support them financially during their stay here. I have already
checked
http://www.path2usa.com/immigration/visitorvisa/visitor_visa.htm#lnk1
and http://www.immihelp.com/visas/visitor/ for the documents I need to
send. I wanted to know if I need any paperwork from my college regarding
this matter (since I am currently on my EAD). I also understand that I
need to fill out the Affidavit of support (I-134). But my college
officials told me that I dont have to do that because I-134 is only if I
am a US citizen or permament resident (which I am not). Is that true?

no they need that even if u are on EAD or H1.

send two sets of documents, ur current status, pay and bank docs.
Also the H1 approval notice and offer letter from the H1 employer.

If u r working on EAD get the e,ployer letter from the EAd employer.
I am not sure if the college paperwork is needed
