B Visa validity

Hi

My parents got 5 yr multiple entry B visa.

Is it mandatory that they need to visit within 1yr to keep B visa intact.

I was told that, B visa holder should visit US within 1 yr after visa is granted, otherwise visa is cancelled automatically?

Please confirm this information. Any information/links on this is greatly appreciated.

Not true, they can enter anytime within the validity of the visa stamp
