B Visa appointments - online only ?

Hi,

Can the B1/2 visas applications can be submitted online (http://www.vfs-usa.co.in ) only ? I have been trying to book an appointment for my parents but everyday it shows up as 'currently dates are unavailable. Please check back in 24 hours.' This has been the case for last two weeks.

When I called up in Delhi customer service, the response was that is the only possible way.

Did anyone else have a similar experience ?

you mean they not giving out dates? or dates not available for the period you want your mom to go apply for the visa?, maybe earlier dates are taken, try for later dates

Hi,

I have been trying this everyday for last 4 weeks.. however, each time it shows up as 'Interview appointments are not available, Please try after 24 hours...'.

The VFS customer service has been of no help other than recorded message or email, saying they dont control it.

Not sure what can be done here ? any suggestion/experiences from the past would be helpful.

By the way, i have gone through VFS site a day before and i could see there are many appointments available in new delhi embassy for the month of Nov. & DEC. However, appointment have not begun yet for next year 2009. I heard that they are going to be opened very soon, may be sometime either in DEC or this month.

right .. but

you are right...I too see may slots available on the availability screen... however, when I complete the application and go for confirmation, it comes back with nothing available.. and says check in 24 hours....

I think there is a problem with the VFS site and they just dont want to look at it.

I just hope they resolve this...

visa interview place

hello,

I could book appt for my mom. I have question. the interview is going to be at US consulate? I was thinking in the diffrent visa processing center like one in Gopalaburam etc. When I booked appoinment it shows the interview at Anna salai. please let me know if you have experience.
