Hi,
I am an Indian national (Currently on H-1), B.Tech (undergrad) in Electronics and Comm. , worked in telecom for 2-years (all around the world), went to business school (MBA) at Univ of Maryland (Major: Finance) and since then (July' 99) have been working in investment banking (in corporate finance)in New york City for over 3 years now (over a year with the current firm).
My firm is a smallish boutique firm (I am their only non-US citizen employee). They want to strictly follow the letter of the law regarding the GC process/requirements though they are helpful. The best spin I can think of is that I provide a 'rare' combination of techincal and finance skills and hence should be given GC. I am using the big NY firm Fragomen.
Given my background, what's my best chance at Green card? I'm TOTALLY new to GC processing and would really appreciate any advice on the process/law firm and other practical ideas/solutions.
Many thanks.
