Could you please clarify/answer this...

1. Does simply filing I-824 abandon our I-485 (if filed earlier) ?
OR
USCIS will wait till they start processing our any one of the files
and intimates us to withdraw one of them?

2. If Company's Lawyer refuse to give AC140 , what are the other
options?
