Does all I-485 EB get trasfered to local office?

I really dont understan... does all I-485 cases get transferred to a local office after thety get processed by the service center???

After 9/11 everybody needs to show up on an interview at the place where u live b4 approval of GC. :) :) :)
 
but i noticed that some ppl in this forum have been approved directly from the SC and others needed interview at local office........ and i dont know the difference
 
I found an important resource

I found this at (www.ilw.com) and it's the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the INS processing of I-485... this document has a lot of important information about the handeling process of our cases... i also found the answer to my question about local centers and SC....

In the employment based for example I-485 there are some people that they waive intetview for if they meet requirments. and thus it get processed directly fron the SC... otherwise it has to be forwaded to the local office...
