My parents were rejected for their B-2 visa applications.
When they came here last time, I applied for 6 months of extension of stay (approved), so they stayed here for 1 year. The visa officer at the consulate asked my parents
why they stayed for a year, and wanted to see approval of
extension application, but I never thought about that
when I mailed my parents the documents, so I did not
include any proof of approval of the extension of stay.
My questions is, will photo copies of the extension approval
work, since my parents had lost the originals? - Fortunately I kept a photo copy of their approval notices. Does anybody have such experience?
Thanks in advance.
