am new to the forum.read many replies to similar situation, but varied responses..so slightly confused.
My I-94 expires on Jan 10th. Applied last week for B-2 extn for 3 months..yet to recv acknowledgment receipt. my queries:
1) Is it legal to stay on after I-94 expires, until a decision is heard? Does it risk a future visa application, irrespective of a current extension granted/ denied?
2) If Denial comes after I-94 expires, is it legal to stay till the decision comes? how soon one needs to pack bags?
3) My return to India is via UK..so will require DATV. If I leave after I-94 expiry, but before a decision on extn application, wil there be any problems with DATV procurement? any other possible DATV related hassles?
Would appreciate a confident and a detailed reply at the earliest
