I enetered the U.S. on a 10 year multiple B-1 visa, while in the U.S. i tranfered to F-1 since i got admissions in the MBA program of a public university.
I havent finished the program yet but a company wants to sponsor my H-1 and employ me right away.

My question is,

1) Is applying for a F-1 to H-1 tranfer from within the U.S better or should i get the H-1 stamped from India?

2) I havent yet finished my degree but i have the official transcripts of all my MBa courses so far, will that be helpful enough in convincing that i have been doing my MBA over here?

I have finished more than 75% of my courses but at the same time I dont want to let go off this company who is providing me with the job opportunity. i can finish the rest of my course while i am on the H-1

Please suggest as soon as possible if you can,
Its is urgent....

Thanking you in anticipation

H1B requires the equivalent of a US Bachelor's degree. If you have that, you can get an H1B approval through the prospective employer. Note that you cannot work for them until you get the H1B approval (unless you use Curricular practical training, or in some eligible cases optional practical training before completion).

1) You cannot get the H1 stamping in India unless you get the H1B approved anyway. So anyway the company has to file your H1B petition. If you are in the US at the time of filing H1B, the same form is used for both the H1B petition and the change of status from F1 to H1.

2) Who exactly are you trying to convince here? If it is the INS, you require equivalent of US BS degree. Looks like you have already convinced the prospective employer.
