Hey immi experts!
I am a student pilot.
I wanna join a flight academy to complete my training.
But, I will have to tour any academy before joining it as there is a lot of risk in this industry.
I want to visit some schools in FL.
It will take about 3 months to choose a school and get admission.
I intend to tour these schools under B-1 visa.
After getting admitted in the school, it will issue an I-20 for J-1 visa.
Is it possible to convert my B-1 into J-1 without coming back to India?
Please let me know the tips and tricks to get B-1 under this situation.
How much time can I expect to be allowed to spend in the US by Homeland Securities under this type(B-1) of visas?
(as far as I know, homeland security officer marks this time on ur I-94 when u enter in the US)
I wanna know how much time usually B-1 visa holders are allowed to spend in the US?
