My wife is visiting home country and applied for stamping of H4.
They calld her for interview, and gave her some rough time but evetually told her if not other problem is found , she will get visa, and passport maild to her ( as they now do not give passport same day at consulate , rather mail it)
When she got her passport, it has B1 visit visa affixed !!!!!!
She is obviously in major trouble? considering some proble they gave her during interview.
I understand for AOS/ I-485, one has to be on H-1 or some other Immigrant visa and not on non-immigrant visa such as B-1
so if she does not get H4, than will I-485 application or AOS not possible. and probably she should not travel back on B-1 visit visa ? And if she does probably AOS application will be invalid?
