need a lil help. ok my parents and my asylum was granted in 2000 and i filled for change of status but my dad recently passed away in june and we got a interview letter for him in july.. so i ended up telling them that he passed away. now my mother and i have recieved letter saying we have to file for asylum all over again. and seperate applications.. i went to 2 lawyers one said its formality and the other told me nothing can be done and we can wait till it drops and should leave the country before the deportation proceedings take place. we all came in april 1991 and then applied for asylum 3 months later.. and now 2005 i am not sure what to do?? i don't know if i should do the medical required and fill out the applications they have asked for or not?? also i wanna know if i can't do that can i apply for canadian and since it will take atleast 3 to 5 years for my mom and as skilled worker 2 to 3 years for me should i and can i change status to F1 and can i have my mom on F4 or not?? so we don't end up going to india instead can just go from here to canada?? please help..
