well, I had a brief conversation with this friend of mine (chat).
His case, the visa officer asked only one question. The diff. in wage between the LCA and his earnings. Looks like there was about 2 mo bench, which has amounted for about 6.5k.

So, he has to get additional info & appy via post.
Now, what kinda of explanation can one give? I can pass on this info him. FIY: he was previous on OPT then h1

Hai: Thanks and Actually I wanted to know if he was asked for his past 2 years history (taxes, wages, W-2's, etc.)
I understand he is OPT, so his situation is diffrent.... I mainly wanted to know about H1B-to-H1B transfer visas...
