AVM - what is case number??

I finally got through to AVM last night after 3 days of trying during the day. I put in my EAC number but the information they gave me just related to my EAD which I received back in July. I called again and put in the fingerprint notice number FSP*xxxxxxxxx. This was not recognized.

Please can someone tell me what the "case number" is that they ask for?

Thanks very much. Also, a second question, does your country of origin have anything to do with processing times? I am assuming not but was just curious. Thanks.

scotgirl:

there are different EAC numbers for EAD, AP and I-485 (if you filed them all with VSC). Find your I-485 receipt and use that EAC number.. it should work

regarding second question (country of origin) if you are not from the more recently listed blacklisted states/countries you should be fine - expect your approval along with others with the same RD

You will have a different EAC # for every application with INS.

To check the status of your AOS you need to punch in the EAC # from your I 485 receipt.

Hope this helps

Hope u won't make a turnaround after the approval.:p ;)

I dont think i have changed even a little bit, the difference is earlier you were not approved and were concentrating on the GC, and now that you are approved you can feel and enjoy the lighter moments of life.:D

As far as delaying my case, well there is only so much that they can delay it, and I believe I have had more than my share of delay, and now am just counting days, 29 days to go:D

I tend to not agree with both parts (urs and mine). ;) :p

Ok so we Agree to Disagree

July16,

I think u r saying that we Agree to Disagree on what u and I think u have always been (funny) and what u and I think I have been before and after GC approval.

Do you agree with this or disagree? :p

Lastly (so that rest of the guys don't die of boredom or laughter due to our conversation),

We have finally agreed to Agree on our Diasgreement. :D :D

Guys,

Please excuse me for this banter. Probably, it's more due to missed fun that comes out of regular weekly meeting with the boss (that got cancelled today. Boss says he is sick, but guys around here in the office say he's gone golfing).
