It\'s now my turn to announce that my I-485 has been approved according to AVM. Here are the details:
PD: 03/2000
RD: 09/19/2001
ND: 09/24/2001
EAD: 12/03/2002
AP: 12/2002
FP Scheduled date: 04/12/2002
FP Done: 03/12/2002
FP Results Receipt Date: 03/20/2002
AVM changed to "FP Results Received": 05/2002
AVM changed to "This case has been approved": 06/21/2002
APPROVAL DATE: 06/21/2002
Mine was AC21 case. I got laid off after 210 days of RD, and luckily got another position on 213th day. Never informed INS about the layoff as my lawyer said its not a good idea.
Well, it looks like an end of a long journey, of about 2 1/2 years including the newspaper ads. before labor application. My wife\'s application is still pending as I recently got married and applied for her I-485. At one point my company was sinking, I was not married, and was scared of applying for I-485 as chances of getting married after GC from India are almost negligible.
I thank almighty God for this kind act and then all of you for being there for all questions/answers.
Thanks to you all, expecially PCee, sonofindia, and milee. I am sure all of you who are waiting will soon get your approvals too.
