AVM never changed after finger print.

I did my FP in June 2002 and the online message and AVm still say "We have sent you a FP notice etc".

My RD is 12/5/2001
 
I got my FP notice in May and had it done in June. AVM and online status to date don't acknowledge that the FP notice was issued!

The message is the same. "Your application ......recd on ....Its taking between 450 to 480 to process........."

The only change in my message was it read ".....300 to 330 days ....." when I got my receipt and now its "450 to 480"!

The message stiil saying that they "we mailed a notice requesting that you appear for fingerprint recording"

I spoke to my layer - she says that it can happened but no infromation are lost. No worries! (It is not much helpful, though...)
 
..however... i do not know anybody who get suddenly approved whyle message was surely outdated.

Mine still says that we have sent you figerprinting requests .....
. Mine finger prints were done on may 2002.....

I called NSC abd FBI about my finger prints in late nov 2002 that confirmed me, FBI says that they have already varified the FPs and sent result to INS. INS says that they have already received response from FBI ... about message they says that some time there can be old message in AVM ....

Have you spoken to IIO recently?

When I called a week back I was told that my case was with the clerical department that issues/mails RFEs though my online status does not indicate that.

ND : 09/17/01

Not received RFE yet ....
 
We were in a similar kind of situation sometime ago, but then the AVM changed for us saying that they have sent a notice for some more evidence required(RFE) and we should recieve that within 14 days. We never recieved it, then the message changed - it said "The notice was returned from the post office saying that this person doesn't lives here". We were shocked and surprised, so we called back and they said they will resend it again. So now the new AVM message was that they have resent it and should recieve.... etc etc. Again we never received it the second time too. So we really don't know whats going on, are they really sending it or what... We get all our other mails, utility bills etc at this address where we have been living since almost 3 yrs now.

Let us know , if anyone else has been thru this kind of situation. Thanks for any kind of information or help provided in this matter

Spoke last week, she said still the file is with officer. No more info.

Update any news is u have.
 
It almost looks like the automatic case status databse is not the same as the main processing databse, adn, the information update such as case status should happen manually.

I have noticed that there are lot of people with the case status messages stalled at some point. Probably it has nothing to do with fingerprinting
 
AVM NOT UPDATED

One of my colleague had the same problem that the AVM was not updated after FP. Called IIO but nothing happened. Now he got his approval. So i think there are cases where AVM does not get updated.
