AVM , how reliable?

Folks,

How soon AVM is updated? Is it mandatory for INS officer to update AVM messages as soon as they make some changes?

I see the latest JIT showing dates for AP as Dec 6 , while I had Dec 5 as my AP date. And I am still not approved ?

Its normal

Even I have my ND for EAD (not yet approved) as 11/09 and INS is processing applications with ND 11/15. This does not mean INS is done dealing with all application prior to that date, the JIT shows most recently picked up application. That is why there is a 30 day window that INS requires( as per the JIT) before any inquiries are entertained.
