AVM changes to "request additional information", what dose that mean?

I just noticed that the AVM changed to something like "On May 9th, a request for additional information notice was sent to you...". I have not received it yet. Do your know what dose that mean?

EB3, China, I485 ND 03/00, not received FP notice yet. Anyone please help.

That means an RFE has been generated on your i-485 application on the specified date. Usually, RFE\'s are generated after FP when your application is ready for adjudication. This is surprising because you mentioned that you haven\'t yet done your FP.
