AVM Case Not Found -- Any Improvements?

My I-485 was filed in April and I got my receipt in July. Recently, I called VSC to check whether they had sent me FP notice. However, AVM kept telling me that my case number could not be found.

I have heard about this problem. Just wondering if anybody has silimiar experience? Has anyone spoken with an IIO? Anyway to fix this?
 
i did talk to IIO but still no UPDATE

I talked to IIO 3 days ago about my case not found. She said
she will update but it did not happen as yet.
My RD is Jan 2001.
 
Is it a common problem?

A friend of mine told me that she had spoke to an IIO twice and the AVM was still not updated. Is it a common problem that\'s going on at VSC?
