... and how about for an I-485 at TSC for somebody from a non-retro country?
I filed my EB-2 NIW I-140 last year, and was approved in six weeks. Immediately following that, in April of last year I filed the I-485. When it was one month out of processing time I called and placed an inquiry. I got a letter saying they are "actively processing this case" and to please call back in 6 months. Is it in these response letters to inquiries that USCIS typically blames the FBI? Because they didn't blame them on this letter... I don't know what that response from them means. What the hell takes them so long?
