Average of one-a-day at NSC!

The title is misleading...

Ummm.. I disagree with your analysis.

RUPNET data only represents a very small fraction of the total number of I-485 cases processed in service centers.
So if you see an average of 1 approval per day on RUPNET, it does not mean that in reality, they are processing 1 case per day ;)

It's gotta be more than 1 per day! Try to find the real number from BCIS web site (from statistics) and work from there using the real/Rupnet ratio. You'll get the sense of magnitude of the backlogs in service centers. ;)

one case per day

Plus, there could be some users in RUPNET that did not update their status upon receiving approval.

;)

sinting,

I agree with you that some people are not updating rupnet upon approval.
There are also people who post info.which seems false info.
Today there is one approval posted in Rupnet as Isingh

LIN 5x-5xx-5xxxx
RD 07/01/03
ND 07/06/03
AD 07/01/03 (same as RD and before ND  )

Sept13

You're right. I've seen it in Rupnet a couple of times before.

Also, the Greenland Report is not all that reliable either as the BCIS online status sometimes is not updated after one's application is approved. A friend of mine got approved in July and received his plastic card 3 weeks later but the online status report still remains unchanged as of now.

:D

I know my analysis is not

reliable. But so are analysis from any other sources. Even BCIS
backlog record doesn't tell you anything, for example, they insist on processing no other cases than those filed before august, 2001. Definitely there are some cases that are getting adjudicated at a very slow pace, close to may be only a few cases a day.
