Average I-140 processing time = 6 months

No longer true. Look at TSC I-140's after the bi-specialization transfers.

I've seen many I-40's getting approved or RFE'd' whose RD are even as far as 3 months after mine. One even got approved in a record 14 days !!

What is going on ? :confused: :mad:
 
My Labor Sub PD is 10/02.
I am about to file I-140 shortly. Should I file it concurrently with I-485 as visa dates are available in May or does it not matter? Is there a difference if I file I-140 now and then file I-485 in May?
Also, I would like to know how much time it takes for I-140 and I-485 to get approved?

You might be better off filing semi-concurrently since it seems that they are not adjudicating concurrently filed I-140s right now.

Mine was concurrent (RD 2/13/06). Got the approval message today. Good Luck! (TSC-EB2 Worldwide)
 
I will be filing I-140 and I-485 semi-concurrently. I am filing I-140 today and will let you know the progress. I hope the whole process doesn't take too long.

Congrats, your case was approved very fast. My employer says it will take 4 weeks to get the I-140 receipt notice due to bi-specialization. Visa numbers are available for my PD. I noticed the EB-2 dates remained stand still for June and I hope it does not retrogress backwards. :confused:
 
Mine I-140 EB2 from California (other countries) was approved exactly in a month. Looks like TSC picks up cases randomly.
 
EB-2 Dates for June?
Can anybody guess as to why EB-2 dates for visa availablity for India did not move for June. All others moved as in preceding months. Could it be a typo that they forgot to fill this one cell?
