Has anyone else tried the ausivisa.com e-kits? (www.ausivisa.com)
I purchased the IT professionals DIY skills assessment kit and it has been incredibly good value.
I had a quote from an Aust. lawyer for $4000 in fees but purchased this kit for $49 and it shows you exactly how to prepare your own entire application.
I am an electronic engineer and have now been approved by the Australian Computer Society.
Moral of the story - dont waste your money on expensive lawyers fees - do it yourself!!
The main advantage of the ekit is that it identifies and explains in detail the Aust. skill standards required for your occupation so you really know before applying whether your overseas skills will be recognised.
The only problem with the site is that it is slow to load,
otherwise excellent.
