i had applied for a PR around 1.5 years back....now i have to send my medical and police clearance (which usually means i am approved...i can see the stamp on face in the mirror...

i just found that i can keep my PR active for almost 3 years without being in australia.....(worst come worst i may have to just visit once...come back....and then go there after 3 years if i want to be a resident).
i just think its a good backup....since jobs over there are much better than canada...
total cost around usd 2000-3000, i did it myself, pretty straightforward process....
we need to create a alternative for our own dignity....else we will be treated like door mats......
