August 2006 Visa Bulletin is out

Filing date

Folks,
My PD is EB2, Dec 2002, this is unavailable in Aug as per bulletin.
My 140/485 application is not yet complete. Do you know when's the latest I can file? I mean if I file it towards the end of july, but they receive it in Aug, will it be eligible for processing? Do they see the postmarked date or the date they chhose to open the package? Any tips will be appreciated.
 
Last month for EB3 India it was 15th April 2001
This month for EB3 India it is 1st April 2001.

Now would that be the case?? Is it a good sign for people whose PDs have been current for a while?? Or is it all bad??

Make sure your application is sent by UPS or Fedex. You can track it and also don't have to worry about lost mails. Send overnite if you do not have enough time. NSC should receive it by the last working date of this month - july 31st..

That's Right. Make sure ur application reaches there before July 31st. Take a week off if you want to perform any activity needed for this. I485 filing will give u a lot of flexibility in terms of applying EAD.
