August 2000 (spouse Green Card appl.) waiters

I got married before my GC approval and applied for my wife\'s GC.
Her receipt date is Aug 16, 2000. Her case has not been approved
yet. We are seeing approvals from September, October 2000. Is there
anybody else from August 2000 waiting for approval? Any ideas about
the delay? If you are in a similar situation please post your
experiences.

Hi,
  Am in a similar situation. My wife\'s GC (derivative adjustment) details are
     RD 7/18/2000
     ND 8/1/2000
     RFE issued 7/11/2001 (B\'cert, marriage cert and
                           copy of my 485 approval)
     RFE recieved 7/23/2001 (AVM updated)
Still waiting for the approval.

I have the same situation as yours. I got approved a few days back

I got married befor my spouse GC\'s approval, and filed the amended application following that. ND OCt 3. 2000, AD Sept 8, 2001. I don\'t think that your wife will have any problem, just a matter of time.
