PS: I applied my EAD renewal on Oct 26,hoping that may trigger my case as well. That EAD is not approved yet

congrats. It is almost certain that BCIS is trying to aviod 2nd FP for those who have done their FP in or after Oct'02. If this is true, it will be a great news for those who have filed after Aug'02.

Congratulations futuregc9!

Looks like FP theory is working. As we all have been tracking recent approvals on this website. Leaving some exceptions this FP formula fits on most of them. It looks like BCIS is following
this pattern to avoid 2nd FP. I remember I got my I-140
approved based on similar theories we had when BCIS started
using I-485 RD to approve I-140 applications in case of concurrent filings.

schang, looks like we may get luck soon enough....I see that u also did the same day FP as me....where did u do the FP?

I am not sure still if we could beleive the FP theory. Look at rupnet and get the percentage of approvals. FP theory could be true but only a handful of cases would be approved given the inefficient processing. IMHO the tunnel is still very dark with no room for any interpretation1!!

Sorry for being pessimistic guys but that seems to be the reality

It's sad that you missed the bus. Based on your FP date, i guess FP2 theory is only partially correct .

I did my FP in Newark, NJ. They recieved my FP on Nov. 14, 2002. Hope we get good luck next.
