Aug 485 case approved....

Just this morning, I found that my 485 case was approved.
It took a very long while and I am not as excited as I thought I would be.

RD 8/23/01
RFE 8/5/02 ( for everything you can think of)
RFE recd by INS 9/19/02

Approved on 1/28/03

Just wanted to share a thing about birth cert. I did not have one and the only thing I sent was BC that i got from Indian embassy.

Interestingly, i did not get RFE for it.

You need not be excited about this as the process took a long time but atleast you can stop taking a peek at www.ins.gov to check your status every day.

Was checking the status after about two months.
And I would advise you the same , if you are checking everyday.

It will happen when it has to happen. Dont let it direct your life.
