I am very frustrating..... and i dont know what it is going on with the processing... what takes soooooooo long to approve my case....
I called 800 # a couple times... their answers were always same and helpless....... What shall i do, guys?

Before contacting congressman, try to get the status of FBI Finger Printing Clearance and mainly FBI Security Name Check Status and once you have the status cleared then you can approach your representative and it will really help. There is no harm in contacting them now, but they might just say that your name is under security checks. My 2 Cents!
 
i checked FBI Finger Printing Result...it has been sent to INS on the same day... and i fax FBI for Name Check ...no response yet...
I spoke to a congressman office sometime on July, 04 asking about 2FP. Afterwards I got 2FP done on Aug 5, 04. and I just spoke to her in the congressman office. she said, FP has been 8 months behind and then they cant do anything until it is close to normal.. and they are still waiting a response of my inquiry from INS. Initially they said, it will take 30 - 40 business days to get a response.. but now still waiting...

FBI clearance

Hi Friends.
I'mm in the same baot. Did my FP2 on 03/23/04. Got a stpid reply from USCIS stating due to short of staff there has been delay in name check clearance.... Full of bullshit. If thats the case why people whose RD is in Sept/Oct/Nov 2002 get approved. Lets pray we win the case of BAcklog where Mr. Rajiv is fighting for us . See below
