Aug 2002 Filers

My RD is Aug 26 2002 and I see my case is still not approved.I called the INS last week to find out why my case is not approved even if they are processing Aug 31 cases.
The lady told me that they are processing cases between July 31 -Aug 31 and I will hear the good news soon.
I wonder how she knew anything about my case.
My Lawyer has also clled them and did a enquiry.
He said I sjhould hear withing 30 days

My receipt date is 26th Aug 2002. 2nd FP in July 2004. My wife didnot get 2nd FP notice till now. When i called they said i need to wait for one more month. If it doenot come then they said they will inquire into this case.. Why August is pain.

There are people with 2002 RD. I am also one in that. It is just the frustration and let it come in it's own pace what if one more extra month/year after all with this NSC, made people not post their details.

No RFE, no update, ever, after 2 and half years. Only 2nd finger print, and i guess that was generated automatically.

I just contacted my congressman, but don't know how much it will help.
