Aug 2001 I-485 and still waiting

I am an Aug 2001 485 filler.
My 485 was transferred to arlington office in Feb 2003 after mutilple RFE's on a straight forward case . Had the interview in Nov 2003. The officer informed that they are still wating for security check..

I am on the 4th EAD and AP. Its really frustating...

What can I do to find whether the Secuirty check is complete or not ?? The senator's office has not received any response on my case either...

The officer interviewed me told me that if the FBI name check does not come back within 120 days, CIS will make a decision as if the name check is complete. This is GOOD NEWS for all pending name check cases!!! This is not a new policy though. It was in place before 911. I'm not sure what security check you r case is waiting for. If it's name check, you can walk to Arlington office and enquire the status of your case.
