Iam planning to take another job in a different city.
My attorney is saying that there is no need to file AC21. She says that when they actually want to adjucate and needed to verify employment, then I can produce the offer letter/ with job responsibilities.

How do I convince my attorney to file AC21 for me.

Is there any rule that says that, I can be denied because I did not file AC21 ?

BTW, they are a major attorney firm representing big companies and big consulting firms.

She is right, you don't have to worry for filing, if you are lucky you will get without RFE or they will ask Employment letter. Make sure you will take the letter from the new employer with matches to your labour cert.

Don't bother about to file AC21. but file AR11 after you move to different city/address.

All the best for the new job.

My attorney is of the same opinion ( QBP, Houston - maybe it is the same firm for you).
Just file for AR-11 after you move to the different city.
I understand you are moving from south to Northeast.
Beware of this nasty cold weather if you are not used to.
I too have moved , after changing jobs and going thru the cold weather.

Different Opinion

I am in the process of looking for a new job, and my lawyer asked me to see her as soon as I get another job to prepare the new (???) paperwork.

I think this is a good oportunity for her to get extra money from me!!!

ihack1, I know couple of friends who changed their jobs and DIDN'T file AC21. There cases have been approved without any problems.
