After I-140 approvals are your attorneys helping you out in filing the I-485 immediately or or they playing games with you.
I have a friend of mine who is working in Verizon and has been having problems while filing I-485, there are people who have I-140 for the past 10 months or so(this is about the EB3 people) but there are people in EB2 also who have been approved upto 3 months earlier who are waiting in vain to start their processing all because of the inefficiency of their company attorney Baker & Mckenzie. Nowadays they have been giving excuses like "show the proof of the money you paid so far, the cancelled cheques, etc) inspite of baker and mckenzie themselves giving us receipts saying that this was the amount paid so far and you need to pay somuch more etc and stories like \'there are around 250 applications to be done\' story for the past 2 months. I suggested that he file his I-485 by himself or thro someother attorney but involve verizon HR to get the original labor and I-140 from them and get the company offer letter and file the I-485. He is going to do that but also can anyone suggest how can we task these kind of cheap attorneys, can we really sue them or can we report them to some thing like BBB(better business bureau) . For the company we are working like donkeys and mules just for the sake of GC but also get raped by these kind of Infidels makes it even more sick.
One thing is for sure paying 7000$ to Baker and Mckenzie is worthless.
