Attorney fees for labor

Hi,

I was in the process of applying for my labor and eventually GC. The attorney charged me 1000$ for this.
Before filing, it was decided that applying for delaware would get me my GC fast, so they re-did the application. Now this attorney is charging me 550$, just for changing names. I feel this is ridiculous
Can anybody out here throw some light on this, or this is normal when you hire a ATTORNEY!!! for your GC.

Welcome to capitalism 101

There is no free lunch so it is normal practice for attorneys to charge you $1 or more for even photocopy of documents. Point is that to redo your application the attorney does some work and they charge you the fees.

$1?

agree $1.
But the application was not filed et all. And just to change the name of the labor center ,he took 350$.
Not to mention most of the ETA 750B form work was done by me and not by attorney.
Whats the usual fees charged for re-doing of application. In my case it was changing name to Delware service center
thanks

H4 to F1 and Its effect on spouse\'s GC Process

I am on a valid H-1 B status and my wife got admission into a school here. She wants to change her status from H4 to F-1 so that she can take up some in campus job.In the mean while my company is starting GC process(RIR-Bringing the advertisement out). The question is whether changing spouse status to F-1 will anyway affect GC process? If so at what stage? Can we take the risk?
Thanks for your help,
