Guys,
My employer changed the immigration attorney. Is this going to cause any delays in getting GC. My details are
PD 8/97 ND 8/00 FP 11/00 still waiting

The only thing you might want to think about is RFE as it is usually sent to the lawyer who petitioned I485 on your behalf... May be you should send a letter to INS explaining this and appoint either yourself or another lawyer (I DON\'T SUGGEST APPOINTING AN HR CONTACT AT YOUR COMPANY.. NEVER) to receive further correspondence.

Hope this helps

That is exactly what you should do. The form G-28 confirms that you are authorizing the current attorney to represent you in the future.

But however, knowing how things work at the INS service centers, there is a possiblility that correspondence may still go to the previous attorney. So I would recommend, after sending form G-28, follow up with a telephone call to the IIO to confirm that they have infact made the necessary changes.

Good Luck
