I have heard from my Attorney that INS Has stopped Issuing I-485 Receipt Notices in Vermont Service Center from Nov 25th 02 due to the Transistion to Department of Homeland Security.
The IIO has told the Attorney that there are many Mail lying with INS at VSC which have been unopened since last Week of November.
I have my Spouse Case Filed in VSC on Nov 25th 02 and still haven't received the I-485 Receipt.
Is there any one who has filed a I-485 Case in VSC in November /December 2002 and received a I-485 Receipt Notice.
