Hi,

My 485 RD is 03/03/03 and ND 03/27/03. same with 140 too and 140 is approved in 04/03.First FP done on 05/01/03 and no update since then.Not even FP2.Actually it is kind of strange..FP2 is not recd for atleast 3 of my acquaints who live in same zip code.I was wondering if there is any problem with FP agency in locating our zipcode.our zipcode is kind of at same distance between boston,MA and machester,NH.

any body in similar situation OR insight is appreciated.

I am also in same boat along with you. Seems like they VSC got burnt in April 2003. I am waiting for the FP2.

Even I did not get the FP2 notice . I took an infipass appointment,spoke to an USCIS officer and gave my finger printing.Yes I gave it w/o the notice and my cas got approved on 11/04/2004.FP2 date waas 09/17/2004 and 485 ND 03/26/2003
 
My ND is 04/07/03 and RD : 03/28/03 from VSC. Its almost 2 mos. after 2nd FP and 25 days after submitting 2nd RFE.
No signs of approval.
BTW, my spouse has the same dates but no 2nd FP.

wow...you did it against all odds..man..please guide us too.what are the docs /paper work needed to meet officer using infopass.

can FP be given same day?..did it reflect correctlly on case tracking system ? Did officer mention why you did not receive FP2 ?

I just took an infopass appointment to meet with the immigration officer.
When he checked the case he said finger prining has expired and I need to give the finger printing. I got it done the same day .

The tracking system never reflected 2nd finger printing status.

I had gone to ST Albans office in VT . The immigration offiers there are pretty cool and were quite helpful in taking the second finger printng.

I am sure you can even go and give your finger printing. Take an infopass appointment and tell the officer you have not recieved finger prinfting notice and since the first finger printing has expired you might as well give it.

Take your passport and 485 receipt notice . These were the only 2 documents I had taken.

Three of my other friiends did the same thing. One got approved, second got his case transferred to local office and third just did that today. He was told that he will hear something within 30 days .

One of my friends spoke to someone in senator;s office here in Vermont and the lady at senator's office said that USCIS has tons of applications that need second finger printing notice and it might be take a while to send out notices to all pending ones ,so the better approach is to just go to local office and give finger prinitng even w/o notice
