Attention : Priority date got changed during 140 approval - pls clarify...


Couple of my friends told me that their Priority date got changed during 140 approval(means their 140 filing date was used as PD, even thou the LC PD is far ahead). Is that possible ?

if so, What scenarios that could happen ? pls give your valuable inputs.....

I am having similar problem now. Mine is a substitute labor with labor PD as 09/21/02. But my I-40 approval notice shows PD as 10/22/2005 (which is my I-140 RD date). I don't why CSC made this mistake. I am in touch with my lawyer to see if this can be correctable. I don't know what will happen. My case is current now according to my original labor PD.

pls keep me posted on your case. Is there a chance/possible the lawyer/attorney can request 140 FD as your PD (to make you stay for long time) ?????

I had same problem. 140 PD is 1 year later than LC's
