attach H1Bs to I-765 for EAD renewal?

Hi there,

Question 11 on I-765 form "Have you ever before applied for employment authorization at USCIS?"

Does that refer to my last EAD, or that includes all my previous H1B too? What about OPT? Should I attach that too?

I think they mean if you ever asked for EAD specifically.
Employment authorized with your employment-sponsored visa (I'm sure about H1B, not OPT though) does not count.

Another question: can I put AP and EAD applications in the same envelope? or would you recommend mail them seperately?
 
if you're doing the married to USC route, send 765/131/130/485 all in one package to chicago lockbox.
 
eddie_d, I filed my marriage-based 485 last yr. This yr only renew my AP and EAD.

PPl say mail them sepereately caz in case one gets lost, at least u get another... I'm not sure what to do...

Ohh I see. In that case, I'm not sure, but someone else will know, someone on this board always knows...it's like the Jedis of immigration law :D
