The recent blunder made by INS of sending to the Florida flight school the visa approvals for Atta and another terrorist on 3/11/02 have finally exposed how big the problem is within INS to the general public and the top administration. Bush was extremely angry and Justice Department vows to set up a criminal investigation within INS. This will definitely have a good effect on INS performance in the long term, but in the short term GC and other visa waiters, already victims of the INS\' beauraucracy, could suffer again if INS becomes panic and recheck every visa/GC applications, approvals and mails, which could delay the processing by a great deal. I posted this message also on VSC forum since I think VSC will be affected most since Florida is covered by it.
