Atlanta Transffer guys - any update?

Do you have any clue why your case would be transferred to Atlanta local office, I'm from Atlanta too and have AOS application pending with VSC. I'm expecting my case to be transferred too because after I-140 approval and before filing I-485 my company merged with its sister concern furhter my company acquired the name of sister concern. I think this will confuse VSC and they may transfer my case to Atlanta Local office.

Since September I have seen couple of cases being transferred to Atlanta, I do not have links but have the ids of persons whose cases were transferred - 1)TheRealCanadian 2)waitingforaos and now its jkmad.
I have'nt seen any approval posting from any Atlanta resident since September.

Transfer Update
I guess mine is the first case amonst the known cases to be transferred to the Atlanta Local office. My case got transfered in September 2002 and they say they have started looking at the case in October 2002. Its been over 2 months that its transfered, but no news as yet. I have no idea why it has been trasfered. From my research it can take anywhere between 6-12 months to shcedule an interview at the Atlanta Local Office. Lets keep our fingures crossed that it doesnot take that long for any of us
