Went for stamping yesterday. Went around 7:00 am in the morning and was out by 9:30.

Went with notice that I got instead of the attorney.

The pp stamp is valid for an year only.

Anyone have an idea, how long it will take for the cards from TSC ?

The guy over there was so lost, that I have to tell him about returning the EAD's and AP's.

Who is the pioneer that started the manual FP ?. I would like to buy him a nice lunch.

Wish you all the best.

Question

Did you have an appointment or just walk in?

> Anyone have an idea, how long it will take for the cards from TSC?

From what I heard shouldn't take too long, I think two or three months is normal. Wish I had your problem. :)

I got mine stamped too on Monday. Just walk in and get a number for EACH person. And *avoid* Monday. I got there 7:30 and out 11:30. Almost 4 hours. Though I didn't mind that very much after near 3 years of waiting :D

The pioneer that started the manual fingerprinting is probably VenkatKodi or Bajis.

What is manual FP?

Late 2002 and early 2003, the TSC FP system had a breakdown and about 5000 2001 AOS applicants didn't get FP notices automatically. Most had to call TSC 214 number to ask an official to schecule the FP manually.

In my case I saw Bajis posting first and the Dukhiman's (who go recently approved) Dec'24 '02 posting how he talked to a nice IIO.

So, many thanks for both of them.
