Atlanta Center Greencard Tracker (and a couple questions please)

I applied for I485 in Feb 2003.
Approved last week of August 2004.
Made Web appointment and went to Stamp in Sep 9.
I am from Alabama and forgot that Atlanta is one hour ahead, so I missed my appointment for 30 minutes, still they gave me a number and I waited nearly 3 hours. However I think that the long wait is not related to missing the appointment, a lady next to me had similar wait time.
They told me the card could take up to one year to arrive, but I got the card in the mail today Sep 20 (less than two weeks after) .
The card is galactic (bio-galactic strip, 3D special effects, etc...) Defenitevely should be more an "Alien Card", rather than "Permanent Resident Card" that sounds too flimsy. Another posibility would be "Pseudo-American Citizen Card" That place us more in a more realistic position of inferior-American (We can no vote, get some grants in school, or trusted by the clearance system, etc...) .

Anyway sorry for being nostalgic, it has been 8 long years in US already.

These were my two cents, now I have a couple questions for you attorneys:
My couple (12 years long girlfriend) has been most of these 8 years as F1, now she is about to finish her PhD and so her F1.

1 - Is there anyway I can sponsor her voiding all the painful process of being a prisioner for some employer for years, etc as I sufered? We don't believe in marriage, we have been loving each other 12 years together, in sin of course, and we are already paying in hell for it. All she needs is the Hell Permanent Residence.

2 - We are both from Spain, and I was wondering whenever we come back together through customs, if she, being F1, could pass with me in the PR/Citizen line. What about the other way around, me in Aliens line? Depends the time of the year one line is empier than the other.

Thanks,

Rick.
